A global luxury beauty brand client is looking for an experienced Assistant Area Sales/Commercial Manager (Travel Retail) to join its Singapore office.
This individual contributor role will advance the next trajectory and ambition of the brand in the Asia travel retail markets, deepening the brand relationship with travel operators, the brand execution, and brand love.
Important: The right-fit candidate needs to have valid right to work in Singapore, and has good working knowledge and travel retail industry connections in Asia/SEA markets to be successful.
Key responsibilities
- Define business plan and commercial KPIs (including sell-on, sell-out, retail metrics), and develop roadmap in achieving them with the travel retail operators in each market
- Enable operation excellence from aligned launch of marketing activation vis-a-vis product availability in stores, efficient order management, to compliant management in stock returns and defects
- Empower dedicated/co-share beauty advisors to become brand ambassadors, driving sales, building customer loyalty, and achieving sales and productivity
- Analyse commercial data points, monitor competitors, and make recommendations
- Oversee brand image, marketing execution, customer service, and local activations
- Foster trusted and win-win partnerships with travel retail operators
Key requirements
- Min 4 years of hands-on/field experience in managing travel retail operations and beauty advisors across Asia for beauty categories (skincare, makeup, fragrances, bodycare)
- Proficient in both English and Chinese/Mandarin
- Fit for high travel frequency
- Self-starter, go-getter
