This position collaborates closely with key stakeholders in Thailand to provide comprehensive legal advice and working in tandem with the regional team to ensures legal alignment across all facets of the business. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to commercial contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal counsel and guidance to support the Thai business operations.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including lease agreements, supplier contracts, distribution agreements, service agreements, and marketing agreements.
  3. Address intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, ensuring proper protection and enforcement.
  4. Advise on competition law matters and navigate regulatory issues, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
  5. Ensure compliance with anti-bribery laws and regulations, implementing effective measures to mitigate risks.
  6. Handle general HR legal matters, property transactions, marketing compliance, and disputes resolution.
  7. Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the business, providing proactive legal advice and updates.
  8. Uphold data privacy regulations and compliance standards, safeguarding sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of combined experience from a reputable law firm and in-house legal department.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract review, negotiation, and drafting, spanning lease agreements, supplier contracts, distribution agreements, service agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Proven track record in providing legal advice on regulatory compliance matters.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property protection and enforcement.
  • Ability to navigate complex legal landscapes, including competition law and anti-bribery regulations.
  • Experience in handling general HR legal issues, property transactions, marketing compliance, and disputes resolution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Native Thai speakers who has strong command of English language, both written and verbal.
