My client, an expanding corporate bank in the region is looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal team.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to management and business/support units in the branch
Draft, review and comment on legal documents
Keep abreast of legislative changes and update loan documentation, security documentation and other banking-related documentation in light of the legislative changes
Assist in maintaining and updating legal policies and procedures

Requirements

A qualified lawyer in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions
At least 2 years of experience in the banking industry or banking and finance team in private practice
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
