Our client is a leading retail chain with various lines of businesses. They are currently looking for a Head of Merchandising for the Food Category for Hong Kong.
Job descriptions:
You will develop strategic partnering with key vendors, sourcing partners, consignment, and monitor business operations to drive business and financial targets.
You will develop merchandising strategy for the Food category including but not limited to fresh food, dry food, imported goods, and drive collaboration with other categories and departments to drive sales.
You will ensure smooth operations of the supply chain process and product quality control.
You will lead and coach team members and ensure smooth daily operations of the department.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business related disciplines with at least 15 years of experience in food retail business with minimum 8 years holding a managerial position
- Good business acumen with attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and people management skills
- Positive personality and professional demeanor, strong sense of ownership for one's work
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Cantonese is a must and conversant Mandarin a plus
