Job Summary:
My client is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with a strong background in application design and development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing solutions, supporting RFP/RFQ, working with project and program teams on technical solutions proposals, and collaborating with the development team on solution design. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java or J2EE and familiarity with server, systems, cloud infrastructure, database, network, and security topics. The Solution Architect will be comfortable working with clients and providing technical guidance on proposed solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative solutions that meet client requirements
- Support RFP/RFQ by providing technical expertise and solution design
- Work with project and program teams to develop technical solutions proposals
- Collaborate with development teams on solution design and implementation
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in application design and development
- Present proposed solutions to clients and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture design, with a strong application development background
- Experience with Java or J2EE
- Familiarity with server, systems, cloud infrastructure, database, network, and security topics
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Experience working with clients and presenting proposed solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
