Seeking a talented and motivated Senior Security Engineer. In this role, you will leverage your engineering expertise and security knowledge to develop and implement innovative solutions to combat fraud attempts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy security solutions to prevent, detect, and investigate fraudulent activity.
  • Analyze fraud trends and patterns to identify new threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain security rules and monitoring processes for fraud detection.
  • Conduct proactive security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential fraud vectors.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest anti-fraud techniques and technologies, including machine learning and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security Operations, Engineering, Product) to integrate anti-fraud solutions into existing systems.
  • Document security procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in incident response activities related to fraud attempts.
  • Participate in threat intelligence sharing to stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on anti-fraud (preferred).
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of common fraud techniques and schemes (e.g., account takeover, payment fraud).
  • Experience with offensive security methodologies (penetration testing, social engineering).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security tools (SIEM, threat intelligence platforms).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working in a security role within a relevant industry (e.g., fintech, e-commerce, internet companies).
  • Experience with machine learning and data analytics for fraud detection.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
