Our clients Technology department provides information technology, services and telephony to over 2000 internal users, and also supports a visitor experience operations 7 days per week across various audience digital platforms. Services are delivered across the 4 main sites along with 2 further UK based office/art storage sites. Furthermore, some infrastructure services are provided to a commercial arm which operates retail shops along with catering. The department also includes an Audio Visual services team who support media based art installations, corporate events and internal audio visual service provision.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role will provide first class support and delivery of the network pertaining to data networks, LAN/WAN, telephony systems, network security and wireless networks.
Working very closely with the Head of Infrastructure and Architecture, we are looking for someone who has great attention to detail thrives on results. This role demands a thorough understanding of logical and physical, network architectures including TCP/IP, routing, switching, security, servers and cloud networking. The successful candidate will cover the entire library of core network services which would mean that you will be multi-disciplined and be able to excel at team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have the energy and passion to deliver and support using a whole range of technologies and have a solid demonstrable understanding of what low-level design looks like.
