A FTSE 100 business based in Central London are looking to appoint a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, Senior Business Partner. This high-profile role reports to the Finance Director and has five direct reports.
The Head of FP&A/ Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for a £200m P&L and play an important role in proactively identifying, challenging and delivering action to drive the business performance forward. A highly commercial role, responsible for the decision making and long-term strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
Business performance, input and challenge of sales bids, ownership of the budget and forecasts, and longer-term financial planning and strategy formation,
New product and other investment case preparation and review
Assessment of M&A targets, managing the financial due diligence and integration processes for M&A targets.
Drive performance to maximise financial and customer outcomes
Providing direction and coaching to a team of Finance Partners, and the offshore team supporting the business unit.
Leading the constant improvement of the finance function.
Single point of ownership for determining performance vs targets
Key Requirements:
You will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA accountant with 5 plus years relevant post qualification experience.
Prior experience working in a FTSE 100/Blue Chip organisation would be advantageous.
A strong intellectual and commercial accounting base, along with good analytical skills are essential.
