Our client is a Global Retail Firm and they are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their regional team in Singapore to lead and manage the data integration for part of their regional business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data integration solutions that facilitate the seamless flow of information across various systems and applications within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of middle layer data integration solutions to support business initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs.
- Design and maintain data integration architecture, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and middleware technologies.
- Evaluate and select appropriate middleware tools and platforms to optimize data integration processes and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Define data integration standards, best practices, and governance policies to maintain data quality, integrity, and security.
- Monitor data integration processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data integration, with a focus on middle layer integration in a retail/ consumer industry.
- In-depth knowledge of data integration concepts, techniques, and tools, including ETL, data warehousing, API integration, messaging queues, and enterprise service buses (ESB).
- Hands-on experience with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or similar platforms.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
