Argyll Scott is partnering with a multi-network content platform to search for a " Senior Content Manager. "
Position Summary:
The Content Manager is responsible for the strategy and execution of Owned and Partnered IP catalog of series, movies, animations, and comics offerings. In this role, the individual must have a proven track record in captivating storytelling, identifying key, commercially-valuable IPs through
consumer insights, taking on vital responsibilities, and collaborating on projects that will resonate deeply with both a local and regional audience on all owned platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Content strategy
- Creating content feasibility analysis, target forecast, and developing a detailed content plan derived from that vision, including a key content pipeline across different content verticals,within the bounds of an approved investment budget and commercial feasibility evaluation for each content.
2. Content acquisition and licensing
- Identifying relevant international and local content producers/distributors that would be best-fit for company's business
- Negotiating licensing and co-production deals, work closely with the Legal team - work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders on each project including but not limitedto Marketing, Sales, Finance, and top management
- Coordinating with stakeholder to sell our content and license to oversea clients.
3.Content programming/operations
- Ensuring maximum visibility and a continuous
refresh for all key content
-Advising local and regional Product Team on content-related platform features, and data team on content personalization mechanics/algorithm or any other projects that may contribute to the continued success of the content.
4.Original content production
-Ensuring best-in-class edits and seamless end-to-end management of pre-production to postproduction work
-Working with the Marketing team to ensure the good promotion of these contents, and BD to
seek sponsorship for these productions
5.Content performance
-Weekly reporting and monitoring of content performance
-Creating content strategy, investment budgeting.
6.Team management
- Leading team which includes:
o Content Acquisition & licensing
o Content Operation
o Content Localization
Key Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of work experience in content acquisition/management.
-Experience working for well-known tech or entertainment start-ups will be advantageous.
-Passionate about content, production, and digital media.
-Excellent English and Thai, both verbal & written.
