Our client is a best in class Consumer products organisation with a portfolio containing some of the best brands within the space. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Regional Finance Director in Singapore to work alongside the Regional Managing Director and run the APAC Region.
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director (with a matrix to the Global CFO) you will be responsible for delivering the key financial and strategic objectives across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, mentor and develop the APAC Finance & IT teams
- Identify margin and profit opportunities across the region, alongside ROI optimization
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying and developing areas of the business in preparation for future opportunities and challenges
- Ensuring strong collaboration & business partnering between teams - being the link to global and local markets
- Finance lead for strategic planning and commercial strategy
- Lead the forecasting process to ensure opportunities and risks are quantified, communicated and controlled
- Lead the monthly reporting process including in depth business analytics and the production of commentaries
- To be the APAC lead for all price reviews and negotiations
- Lead finance business partner on strategic developments
- Oversee tax compliance, year end close and audit process for all group entities
- Contribute to the Group Strategy, sharing best practice within the region and globally and proactively participating in global projects
- Actively monitor and develop the process and controls environment across the region, leading internal controls, corporate governance and tax compliance
- Lead treasury and credit management including working capital, debt requirements and currency management
- Drive and contribute expertise in building up new channel proficiencies (e.g e-commerce)
- Finance lead on all key projects and change management initiatives
Key Requirements
- Experienced senior finance professional with a track record in Consumer Goods
- Extensive APAC & China experience
- Track record of building highly motivated teams
- Qualifications - CA, CPA, MBA etc
- Expertise in both SAP and BW/BI is desirable
