PURPOSE OF THE JOB |

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES |
Regular tasks : On a regular basis, the purchaser will have to · Meet his internal customers · Receive their needs · Source, write book of specs, bid, analyze quotations, recommend · Negotiate and award business to suppliers · Set-up contracts · Secure and manage suppliers panel & SRM · Approve POs & Suppliers creation in the system
Perimeter : The indirect purchasing segments/families covered will be : · MAINLY Merchandising (counters, podiums, HPP, local POSM, Merchandising Logistics, …) · POSSIBLY Events & Seminars (events agencies, catering, accommodations, decoration, · POSSIBLY Marketing & Communication (agencies, digital, printing, promotional items, …)
Methodologies : The purchaser, based on each purchasing strategy previously defined by Purchasing Direction, will have to · Apply methodology and tools of central/transversal Purchasing organization (if any) · Deploy, apply and control contracts made at group level (travels, computers, …) · Communicate on purchasing performances on a regular basis · Define suppliers mapping on key segments · Manage actual suppliers + Source and homologate new suppliers according to LVMH Social, Ethical and Environmental requirements · Make value engineering studies on various subjects in relationship with internal customers
