Project Accountant Job Specification
A Technology Consultancy are looking for a bright Management Accountant to join their ever-growing team based in London. The ideal candidate for this role will be part or newly ACCA or CIMA qualified. They will be a high achiever who is self-motivated and ambitious with unfaultable attention to detail and a drive for excellence in all they do. They will have massive energy, and will work smart and deliver quickly.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare end of month revenue and WIP reconciliation and post month end journals:
- Accrued and deferred revenue journals
- WIP journals
- Project pricing/costing models
- Assist in preparation of quarterly VAT return
- Oversee Accounts Receivable function - ensure POs are chased regularly, billing is done timely and correctly, debtors pay promptly - weekly reporting to Financial Controller on AR KPIs

- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS and complex formulas
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook skills
