Procurement Supply Manager (Food and Non-Food)

Our client is a leading player in the food chain industry, dedicated to ensuring quality and efficiency in procurement processes. With a commitment to excellence and sustainability, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Supply Chain Manager to oversee the procurement operations within our food and non-food supply chain, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives, considering both food and non-food supply chains.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of supply for both food and non-food categories.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards, in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or quality issues, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to food safety, quality assurance, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, including logistics, operations, finance, and sales teams, to align procurement strategies with business objectives and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Lead cost saving project

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the food or food chain industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good command in English
