About the Role

This role is responsible for the governance, planning, and execution of IT projects and products within a Financial Services Industry (FSI) environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project management methodologies and best practices aligned with FSI regulations.
  • Oversee the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Create and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders, including project teams, business units, and IT departments.
  • Track project progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant FSI regulations and standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for project issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure proper record keeping.
  • Support with vendor management for IT projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent experience (highly preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the FSI sector.
  • Strong understanding of FSI regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
