Job Description:
- Assist in business conceptualization and rationalization, including feasibility analysis, cost/benefit assessment, and fit/gap analysis.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology partners, and customers to analyze the current state, recommend improvements, and define future business solutions aligned with industry trends.
- Understand, prioritize, and validate end-to-end business requirements and processes, providing alternative solutions and recommendations.
- Design and document functional specifications comprehensively, ensuring clarity for both business and technical teams.
- Consolidate functional and non-functional specifications from technical sources.
- Define technology solutions and roadmaps to ensure scalability and capacity alignment with evolving business demands.
- Lead vendor selection processes, negotiate contracts, and oversee solution analysis and implementation, including training and project tracking.
- Manage requirements throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, providing support to project team members.
- Deliver progress reports to stakeholders and management, seeking necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with technical and business teams for testing phases to ensure quality delivery.
- Develop and deliver training materials, conduct training sessions as needed.
- Oversee technology solution and environment roadmaps for relevant applications, optimizing costs and ensuring compliance.
- Evaluate technologies for system components, recommending modifications or upgrades to maintain service levels.
- Maintain relationships with business stakeholders, staying informed about business processes and relevant technologies.
Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in roles such as IT Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related fields; 10 years for Senior level positions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor management.
- 3-5 years of experience in the banking and finance sector.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to quickly grasp complex business and system concepts and provide suitable solutions for clients.
- Robust technical background with professional experience in large-scale application implementation projects, preferably within banking or consulting.
- Experience in managing the implementation of systems related to hire purchase, lending, collection, CRM, and ERP is advantageous.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, including structuring business challenges, conducting independent analysis, and adapting to new issues in dynamic work environments.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience across the IT project management lifecycle, including design thinking concepts, agile methodologies, roadmap development, and resource estimation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders such as clients, developers, quality assurance personnel, subject matter experts, and architects.
- Ability to articulate system changes and functionalities clearly to all stakeholders and executives, providing confident and professional advice.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
