Indirect Sourcing Manager
As the Sourcing Manager for Capital & Factory Services, you will play a critical role in optimizing the procurement and operational processes related to capital equipment and services required for our manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for identifying cost-effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth operations within the manufacturing environment. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills to drive success in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for capital equipment and factory services to meet business objectives, including cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain optimization.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on factors such as cost, quality, reliability, and capability. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance against key metrics such as on-time delivery, quality, and cost. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier dependencies, supply chain disruptions, and operational bottlenecks. Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations in the event of unforeseen disruptions.
- Develop and manage budgets for capital expenditures and factory services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and financial targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and agility of the sourcing and operations functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or operations management, preferably in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Good command in English
