Director of Marketing Technology/1 million/ Global Retail Brand

Our client is a global fashion and lifestyle group. They are looking for an experienced people manager who specializes in marketing technology, CRM, customer experience, and digital transformation. This role works across the APAC region and has a strong company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with respective business counterparts to develop a short and long-term strategic system plan, including justification, management, and execution of supporting initiatives.
  • Monitor vendor partners' adherence to IT policies.
  • Understand and improve strategies for customer engagement, Martech, CRM, and digital transformation.
  • Coordinate the prioritization of new capabilities and features with business owners and product managers.
  • Investigate consumer behavior and industry changes to bring new and relevant ideas to the larger team.
  • During project planning sessions, lead or consult with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements and design systems.
  • Make design suggestions based on long-term IT technical strategy.
  • Define and track key operational metrics, such as site performance, incidents, and recurring problems.
  • Control the customer engagement efforts centered on security and audit compliance.
  • Work with the Ecommerce team, CRM team, MarTech team, internal IT, and external partners on planned releases, e-commerce application operation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science, as well as specialized training and certification or equivalent work experience, are required.
  • At least ten years of experience in the retail industry, preferably with a focus on technology
  • Experience with order management systems, marketing technologies, consumer engagement (CRM), Omni-channel, Marketplaces, social commerce, and so on.
  • Capability to manage projects and deliver results using various project methodologies.
  • Working experience in matrixed teams responsible for influencing at all levels of the organization.
