My client, a fast-expanding financial institution with good regional exposure and westernized culture is looking for a Credit Manager with solid mortgage lending approval experience.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze and approve mortgage loan applications in compliance with policies, guidelines and operation procedures.
- Liaise with the Risk team on ensuring credit best practices and appropriate credit governance.
- Provide credit reporting (status, insights and required corrective actions) to relevant governance and business forums.
- Engage with the Executive team to update and present solutions relating to key credit areas.
Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in credit approval (Mortgage lending focus).
- Strong working understanding of credit frameworks and processes.
- Strategic and critical thinking applied in a complex corporate environment.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
