Application Analyst

Behind the engine, we are looking to Application Analyst to join the risk management platform team to handle the applications on the risk management platform on development delivery and maintenance,
You will handle analysis development and implement the daily activities adorning to the digital and platform strategy, assist to define technical specifications of solution and drive continuous improvement through technical and process improvements and optimise the delivery to customers.
Requirement
Be the owner of the risk management platform, identifying the key risk and IT Controls of the application
Ensure issues and actions are handled in timely manner
Handle application development, delivery and maintenance across Java, PL/SQL applications
Analyse user needs and define technical specifications
Handle Technical Development of existing programs, analyse and identify areas for modification
Build security, performance, monitor non-functional requirements within solution
Identify and implementing Service improvements including production of improvement plans and applying software upgrades
Handle Technical development and governance of new projects and initiatives, assessing the impact of initiatives or projects on systems/applications
Propose innovative solutions or alternative approaches to difficult issues
Stakeholder management of business and IT SME colleagues
Requirement:
Good experience in Java, plsql application support
More than 5 years of application support / platform support experience
Experience in Risk management platform or insurance domain is ideal
Knowledge of application support and development processes, standards CI and test driven development
Collaborate with peers across IT to continuously obtain feedback, review and develop new technical solutions and best working practices
Good communication skills to handle both IT and business stakeholders
Working with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions to improve customer experience
Proactive and good attitude
