The Competition, Consumer & Regulatory Practice


Allens' Competition, Consumer and Regulatory practice is Band 1 (Chambers Asia Pacific 2021) and Tier 1 (Legal500 Asia Pacific 2021). They have acted in many of the major mergers, competition and consumer investigations, prosecutions, access disputes and proceedings in Australia, and conducts litigation and represents clients before the ACCC, the Australian Competition Tribunal, the Australian Energy Regulator, the Federal Court and the High Court.


We are looking for experienced Competition lawyers with 6+ years of experience, who are interested in relocating to Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to join Allens' Tier 1 Competition, Consumer and Regulatory practice, which covers the full spectrum of competition and consumer law matters, including; mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, ACCC investigations and anti-competitive conduct allegations.

What you'll bring:


· Experience obtained with a leading Competition practice within an international firm or top tier environment. Experience in an in-house legal team is also highly regarded.

· A willingness to participate in business development activities, such as pitch documents, firm-wide pursuits, article writing, attending industry events and hosting seminars.

· The ability to build an understanding of clients and develop effective working relationships.

· A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
