Company Overview:

My client is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge B2C products that enhance user experiences. We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team on a 1-year direct contract basis, contributing to the evolution of our digital products.

Responsibilities:

User Research:

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target audience.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and strategies.

Wireframing and Prototyping:

  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and stakeholder input.

Complex Workflow Design:

  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for B2C products, considering complex user workflows and scenarios.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user journeys and design solutions that streamline and optimize these processes.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively to ensure a seamless transition from design to development.

Decision Rationalization:

  • Clearly articulate and rationalize design decisions based on user research, best practices, and business goals.
  • Present design solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to achieve consensus.

Usability Testing:

  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on designs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use findings to refine and enhance the user experience.

Stay Current with Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
  • Apply this knowledge to continually improve and innovate our products.

Qualifications:

  • 2 -3 years of proven experience as a UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing successful B2C product designs.
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Experience working on projects with complex user workflows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to justify design decisions based on user needs and business objectives.
  • Familiarity with usability testing methodologies and a user-centered design approach.
