Test Lead/Architect- Systems Assurance; Perm role; up to 85K

• Responsible for Test Management including manage test environment, project risks & quality against project scope, test scheduling, resourcing , project tracking and defect management
• Responsible for various levels of testing such as In-Sprint & System assurance testing, Regression testing and support UAT over the Azure Data lake layers & Enterprise Data warehouse
• Conduct defect triage meetings with work stream leads
• Responsible to drive the usage of test automation to supplement manual testing
• Document & provide test results and publish test summary reports
• Provide ongoing input to the overall SA process improvement
• Responsible for system installation and configuring the test environment
• Attending scrum and retrospective meetings
• Co-ordinate with onshore & offshore resources
• Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role to support cross team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours.

• Have a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• Have minimum 10 years of experience in software testing/system testing and 3 years management experience in leading teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels
• Solid working knowledge of testing methodology and best practices in a complex and mission critical technical environment. Professional qualification in testing (e.g. CSTE or ISTQB), software quality (e.g. CSQA) and IT audit (CISA) will be an advantage
• Fluent with Test Management and Defect management tools
• Solid skills in Project Management, Resource Management, Change Management and Risk Management
• Skills in defining functional automation framework in Data Lake & Data warehouse testing
• Solid experience in testing of Data Analytic, Data Lake, Data Warehouse and ETL applications.
• Working experience in applying / operating Test Automation and Continue Testing under CI/CD process
• Have experience in testing applications
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or Lean principles and practices
• Have knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, QA process, methodologies, and best practices
• Have experience in Data lake, Databricks, Apache Spark & Big query concepts (Big Data technology)
• Have good understanding of software development life cycle
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua (written and spoken)
• Have knowledge in Microsoft Windows and Linux system, Internet protocols such as FTP, HTTP, XML; and script language such as SQL/DB stored procedures and Linux shell scripts
• Skills in developing automation test scripts for Data Lake & Data Warehouse applications.
