Position Overview:

Our client seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager with a strong background in food and ingredients, specifically in categories such as starch, sweeteners, specialty oils, and pectin. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Dairy, Beverage, Confectionery, Sauces, and Bakery industries and will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in these sectors. The role requires extensive customer interaction and technical expertise to ensure the successful use of our products in their applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Dairy, Beverage, Confectionery, Sauces, and Bakery sectors, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them optimize the use of our food and ingredient products to meet their specific needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product offerings, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Problem Solving: Assist customers in troubleshooting issues, resolving challenges, and enhancing product performance.
  • New Product Introduction: Collaborate with product development teams to introduce and promote new products to customers in the specified categories.
  • Training and Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding of our products and their applications.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements, providing feedback to internal teams.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of customer interactions, technical support provided, and relevant data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align technical support with business objectives.


  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the food and ingredients industry, with a focus on starch, sweeteners, specialty oils, and pectin.
  • Strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of food and ingredient applications in Dairy, Beverage, Confectionery, Sauces, and Bakery.
  • Exceptional customer-facing skills with a proven track record of successful customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and a team player.
