Responsibilities
- In charge of overseeing the design and development of company data engineering technology for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring that the design and development adhere to the general standards and frameworks for data engineering.
- Build end-to-end data pipelines, including data collection, transformation, quality, and integration solutions, to support the company's data & analytics solutions.
- Engage with data stewards, producers, and consumers to design appropriate data pipelines within their assigned projects.
- Conduct user requirement studies, system analysis and design, contract negotiations with IT vendors, etc., while working with the IT Business Partnering team.
- Work with suppliers and service providers to plan solutions, deliver services, and give technical support.
Requirements
- Mastery of Python
- Expertise in relational databases and at least one of the SQL scripting languages (such as SQL DB/DW).
- Knowledge in the development, orchestration, deployment, and monitoring of enterprise data platforms
- Proven track record with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) techniques
- Software version control and lifecycle management expertise
- Understanding of platforms for cloud computing, such as Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or AWS
- Knowledge of container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
- Possess strong relationship, vendor, and change management skills.
