Responsibilities
- Engage in automating infrastructure provisioning at a regional level - working across different engineering squads on cross discipline architectures and automate infrastructure systems etc.
- Responsible to drive and define the SRE best practices with / for engineering teams towards infrastructure as a code
- Ensuring events and logs are traceable, continuously introducing new improvements such as monitoring processes, thresholds, configuration etc
- Facilitate and improve the release management pipeline in regards to production ready
Requirements
- Experience as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a Software Engineer
- Experience with scripting and automation, familiar with Linux environment
- Have production experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure orchestration and config management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc)
- Experience in working with cloud environments ideally with AWS (but also open to Azure, GCP experience)
- Working experience with Microservices and Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Rundeck, Bamboo etc), monitoring frameworks (Datadog, ELK etc)
