My client is a Hedge Fund and they are looking for a Senior Risk Platform Developer to help them build out their risk platform to enhance the trading platforms.
Solid Java/C++ development experience (Kotlin is very helpful), knowledge of Risk (Greeks etc.) and have worked on trading platforms will give you a great chance at the Team Lead role (small team currently)
Responsibilities
- Working with key stakeholders in both Risk and Finance to gather requirements, understand existing processes and improve efficiency
- Firm command of Sophis (core risk platform) preferred. Manage the risk configuration of environments to ensure the businesses trading activities are supported by these systems
- Strategic mind-set and deliver quick and high-quality results
- Development and enhancement of standards and operating model for the team
- Works with the CRO and Head of Finance to configure risk systems to enhance overall trading platform
Requirements
- 7+ years development experience
- Trading platform development experience is ideal (not essential)
- Risk knowledge is essential (Greeks, VaR, risk management platforms)
- C++ and Java development, Kotlin is used
- Sophis experience is ideal
- Able to lead a team
- Agile experience and CI/CD pipeline experience
- English is the only required language (Written and Spoken)
