My client is a well-known Asset Management company where you will be helping create and improve mobile applications for mobile stock trading and asset management. They are building a Mobile Development team in Hong Kong so you will eventually have the offshore development teams reporting into you too.
Job Responsibilities
- Mobile development, including the entire development lifecycle (design, develop, test, release and support business aligned SDLC projects)
- Build out a Mobile Development team in Hong Kong
- Eventually look after an offshore development team too
- Identify and plan for new features
- Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
- Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications and protocols
- Use both Android and iOS development to improve and create new mobile apps for stocks, trading and asset management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant fields
- Java, Swift, Objective C and iOS and Android app development experience (5+ years)
- Familiarity with OOP design principles
- Experience in Investment Banking / Securities Trading industry with relevant exposure
- Experience in development and support of Equities Trading Applications, FIX client connectivity and DMA
- Front end development experience in Javascript is highly preferred
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Possible experience using continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools (e.g. TeamCity, Nexus, Jira, etc.)
- Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English. Conversational level of Mandarin is required
