Our client are a global, listed, recruitment business with a lively and experienced team. You will come in to cover workload for 6 months and have the opportunity to go perrmanent.
The business have enjoyed year on year growth in recent times and this position will require you to cope with a high volume of work within a busy environment. The duties will include, but not limited to the following -
Review, preparation and posting of standard and non-standard journals mainly relating to individual entities
- Contractors revenue and cost recognition including margin review
- Calculation of monthly commissions and reconciliation of balances
- Review of FX movements
- Review and upload of monthly FX rates into Navision
- Assisting with the intercompany reconciliations and posting of ICo interest
- Correcting and adjusting journals
- Review, preparation and implementation of controls around month end and management
accounts review
- Ensure the smooth running of month end timetable against agreed deadlines
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations by entity
- Preparation and Review of P&Ls by entity and Profit centre
- Review of journals posted by Assistant Management Accountants including Fixed Assets,
Prepayments, Accruals, Bank recs, FX Revaluation journals
This role will start in June (remotley) and run for an initial 6 months. The salary will be circa £55,000 p/a or £250 per day.
