Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team, responsible for a balanced mix of project implementation/enhancement and production support tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting sales and commercial systems and applications, with additional knowledge of Salesforce as an added advantage. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide valuable insights to drive successful project outcomes and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Project Implementation/Enhancement (50%):
- Work closely with business users, project managers, and technical teams to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Participate in system design, testing, and user acceptance activities.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of business requirements.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Production Support (50%):
- Act as a primary point of contact for end-user support and issue resolution related to sales and commercial systems/applications.
- Investigate and analyze production issues, identify root causes, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address incidents and ensure timely resolution.
- Document support processes, create knowledge base articles, and provide training to end-users as needed.
- Continuously monitor system performance and identify opportunities for system optimization and stability improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in both project implementation/enhancement and production support roles.
- Strong understanding of sales and commercial systems and applications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is highly desired.
- Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
