The Client
My client is a European Textile manufacturer based in Thailand with their HQ in Italy.
The Role
Provides quality control leadership in ensuring the quality of raw materials are sourced and to quality control production process. Leads the analytical evaluation and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure that materials meet or exceed customer and product specifications.
Specific Duties
- Quality Control of the whole supply chain raw material to finished product
- Customer Complaints: Reduces or eliminates customer complaints due to QC error. This includes both administrative and analytical errors.
- Work Management: QC work prioritization and execution, the ability to identify, prioritize and adapt to an ever-changing priorities and situations.
- Instrument Calibration and Maintenance: Ensures that existing Quality Control Instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Sourcing Supplier Quality: Coordinate with suppliers and sourcing to ensure quality of process and product.
- Prioritize Quality Control tasks in a way that reflects the goals of the department and the company.
- Will execute on projects agreed to by management with urgency.
The Person
The ideal candidate will:
**Thai OR Expat** with a strong background in Textile Quality Control Management ****
- Education: Degree in Production, Quality, Engineering or related.
- Experience: 10 + years of Quality Control experience within the textile industry with 5 + years Management Experience
- Analytical Ability: Exceptional analytical skills. The ability to break down, prioritize and solve problems is essential.
