A new and exciting Project/Programme Manager for a reputable global bank in Singapore. Looking for someone with experience with strong experience driving projects/programs in compliance or other business change functions.
Role Overview:
As a Project/Program Manager - Compliance Change, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering critical compliance-related projects within our bank. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across various departments to ensure the successful implementation of compliance initiatives. Your focus will be on managing change, driving process improvements, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting for compliance change projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business units, legal, risk management, and technology, to drive compliance projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Act as a key liaison between compliance, legal, and other business units to ensure regulatory requirements are met and implemented effectively.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and achievements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and project success.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining of compliance-related activities.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in compliance to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project/Program Manager, specifically in the compliance domain within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and frameworks such as AML, KYC, and data protection regulations.
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering complex compliance change projects, including experience with process improvement, risk management, and change management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
