MAIN JOB MISSION:
- Oversee production management and quality control for factories in Vietnam and SEA countries.
SPECIFIC TASKS:
A. MANAGE DELIVERY SCHEDULE:
- Follow detailed plan for Product Development, Capacity Planning, Daily Work In Progress (WIP) Control, and Delivery Timeline.
- Check and confirm production capacity and production schedule.
- Check the production progress at the factory.
- Check the shipment status at the factory.
- All the above work contents are reported to the superior and head office (Tokyo).
B. QUALITY CONTROL MANAGEMENT
- Conduct Preventive Action Plan for potential quality problems in the production phase.
- Handle Quality Inspection for WIP.
- Instruct the factory on quality inspection requirement & standards.
- Inspect, instruct, and support the factory to improve the working environment.
- Propose plans to improve production efficiency as well as come up with Corrective Action Plan for substandard products.
- All the above work contents are reported to the superior and head office (Tokyo).
BUSINESS TRAVEL:
- Within the territory of Vietnam: frequency 3-4 times a week.
- Working abroad after the Covid situation stabilized.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE:
- PC operation: Fluent usage of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet.
- Experience, knowledge of production management / quality management.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the field of production management of Household goods and furniture.
- Language:
- Must-have: Business or higher-level English
- Nice to have: Business or higher level Japanese
(Preference is given to candidates who know Japanese, have experience working in Japanese companies)
