Position: Process Engineer ( 1 years contract - renewable)

Location: Sri Racha, Thailand

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Required: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the medical device industry. Experience managing OEM manufacturers is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage OEM Manufacturing: Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM manufacturers responsible for producing medical devices. Coordinate all aspects of manufacturing activities, including production planning, process optimization, quality control, and supplier relationship management.
  2. Process Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations and increase productivity.
  3. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards for medical devices. Develop and implement quality control measures to monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  4. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors. Collaborate closely with external partners to ensure alignment on production goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing operations. Lead initiatives to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and cost reduction, leveraging best practices and industry trends.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and supply chain to support new product development, product launches, and ongoing manufacturing operations.
  7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and supplier relationships. Develop risk management strategies to ensure the reliability and consistency of product supply.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Proven experience managing OEM manufacturers and supplier relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive results.
  • Proficiency in English and Thai languages is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., FDA, ISO) is advantageous.
