Reporting to the General Manager of Thailand, this position has strategic responsibility for the sales activities of the Thailand market

Key Results Areas & Activities

  • Strategic planning, Sales strategic plan developed
  • People Management
  • Co-ordinate and direct Sales team to achieve annual sales budget
  • Develop training and coach new sales team member to achieve maximum performance within a short time-frame. Solicit assistance from local marketing and Regional Marketing on product knowledge as necessary
  • Review of Sales team' performance objectives, account management and overall performance. Provide Sales team with feedback on ways to improve results [e.g. training, shift in customer focus
  • Take leadership position in establishing initiatives in key priority areas for the sales force and provide team with information and overall direction
  • Sales Management
  • Ensure Corporate Policies and Procedures are complied including, but not limited to promotion, business ethics, sampling, expense reporting
  • Undertake agreed Sales Management Projects within agreed timeframes to agreed standards
  • Proactively participate and seek ways to improve business activities such as processes and procedures to streamline necessary documents/approval


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Science or related discipline
  • Minimum eight (8) years hospital experience with a minimum of three (3) years sales management or business management experience from Corporate international company
  • Demonstrated ability to learn functional / technical skills and behavioural competencies
  • Extensive experience in the competing and succeeding in the marketplace and with diverse specialty product portfolios
  • Experience in analysing sales data and interpreting trends, implications etc
  • Previous work experience in sales principles and applying them in a commercial business environment
  • Proven people management leadership and project team participation
  • Strong technical knowledge in medical filed
  • Using appropriate methods and interpersonal styles to develop, motivate and guide a team toward the successful completion of a program/project; modifying behaviour according to tasks, situations and team members involved
