Argyll Scott is helping the client looking for MD for Payment Business. This role is to set strategies and goals for the organisation while managing and supervising operations of the overall organisation.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Provide overall strategic direction, vision, business strategy and operating policy for the organisation on a macro level
  • Determine the direction of the development of various policies, e.g. human capital development
  • Communicate policies, visions, and directions of the organisation to employees with the organisation to enhance understanding and engage employees in key initiatives
  • Report to the Board of Directors and internal/ external stakeholders regarding performance, projects and significant matters of the organisation
  • Form and maintain good relationships with internal/ external stakeholders, customers, and investors
  • Support the teamwork, cooperation, and demonstration of the organisation's values from all employees
  • Oversee the organisation's overall financial performance, e.g. investments and budgets
  • Oversee and manage the tasks related to secretarial office and legal to operate efficiently
  • Lead business frontline/ front office operations, be a representative of the organisation to various media outlets, and perform public relations duties
  • Ensue alignment of organisation's direction and strategies with objectives of stakeholders and regulators
  • Be proactive and take charge of change leadership in the organisation and related areas such as financial landscape and digital payments

Key Qualifications;

  • At least 20 years' experience working in information technology management, the payment business, or related fields
  • Management experience related to implementation of information technology systems, the payment systems industry, or related fields in at least 20 small, mid-size, or large projects
  • Provide vision, strategy and direction of digital payments and payment infrastructure to internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep track of current and future innovations and technologies in the industry, e.g. alternate methods of payment, new payment platforms, and new standards in order to adapt the organisation's goals and strategies accordingly
  • Determine feasible and effective strategies to improve the organisation's profitability
  • Approve of investments in projects and innovations that result in the organisation's long-term growth
  • Develop a strategy that balances both financial profitability and technological advancements
  • Represent the organisation in a positive light and communicate the organisation's brand and strategies via public relations activities in order to attract partners and investors
  • Effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, including internal, external, domestic, and international stakeholders
