Responsibilities
- Encourage analytics activities across the analytics lifecycle - Understanding business needs, gathering, transforming, and analyzing data, performing data analysis, and communicating the consequences and recommendations of the analytics findings in language the business community can understand.
- Engage stakeholders to comprehend business possibilities and concerns and structure them in a way that allows for analysis and modeling.
- Plan and monitor analytics development initiatives' progress.
- Find and gather pertinent data, and ensure proper data aggregation, transformation, and documentation.
- Make that the statistical and analytical methods used are appropriate for the problem at hand and that the assumptions and limitations of the methods are recognized.
- Convert analytics results and insights into useful business suggestions and initiatives.
- Utilize data storytelling and data visualization to improve communication.
Requirements
- Direct experience in managing data analytics teams for at least five years in a banking setting
- A track record of successfully implementing data analytics programs.
- Applied Statistics, Data Analytics, or a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- mastery of R, Python, SQL, and Tableau (Desktop, Prep Builder, Server)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Jira/Confluence collaboration tools.
