Responsibilities
- Large-scale data processing solutions must be developed, maintained, tested, and evaluated.
- Provide expertise and practical assistance in the development of data platform solutions.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, including data sourcing, extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Improve internal processes by identifying, designing, and implementing improvements such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
- Monitor performance and implement any optimization changes or requirements that are required.
- Assist the organization in developing and updating data retention policies.
- Assist data architects and data scientists with data integration and transformation projects.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on experience with SQL databases and data warehouses are required.
- Excellent knowledge of writing and configuring stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Proven knowledge of data modeling, data access patterns, and performance optimization
- At least one year of Python development experience and working knowledge of NoSQL databases are required.
- familiarity with data lakehouse security configuration and best practices
- Exposure to large, complex data environments is highly desirable, as is exposure to big data environments and the public cloud.
