Java Developer
Our client is a leading insurance firm looking for Java developer to join their application team. You will join the digital movement of insurance domain, building applications within the business digitalising and integrating API using Java as main technology.
You will be handling software development and applications implementation, designing and implementing new integrations API.
Implement functionality and features that meet the requirements of the project.

Implement functionality and features that meet the requirements of the project.
Ability to write high quality, scalable code
Handle complex system migrations in a Java/Spring boot environment
Quickly get up to speed on current architecture and contextual info surrounding existing systems.
Collaborate with front-end developers to define API contracts and implement those contracts via RESTful end-points
Integrate with data storage for persisting objects
Implement business logic in server-side processes
Requirement & Skills:
More than 5 years in Java development
More than 5 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, apache camel, restful services.
Familiarity with AWS is added advantage, solution will be deployed in AWS. Familiar with AWS key services.
Good knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, create RPM based deployments.
Familiarity with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Experience developing, maintaining, and communicating between microservices.
Experience in implementing API Authentication and API security.
Familiarity with other Spring services (Cloud, Security, etc) are a plus
Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of databases, e.g. SQL, tables, views, filter, indexes, etc.
Agile methodology practice is an advantage.
