About the Company
Our client is a Digital Life Insurance company base in UK. As a first full digital life insurer in Hong Kong. They are expaning their technology for their digital transformation program within the core business applications. Projects include cloud migration, business process improvement etc. They are looking for a IT Manager (Cobol) to manage the development of projects and lead the onshore/offshore teams to successful delivery.
About the Job:
- Analyze BA or user BRD's to determine solution which would best satisfy requirements
- Complete functional specification documents
- Provide UAT support and production support activities as required
- Provide excellent technical solutions meeting the organization's IT standards
- Understand complex applications and integrations to other applications
- Act as first level triage of all App. Related problem and be a point to classify them as bug/user Error/enhancement
- Create Test plans and coordinate the Acceptance and Unit Test cases
- Perform technical support for Life/400, Life/Asia application
- Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction
- Explore new methods to effectively arrange and optimize the product backlog in consulting with client
- Coordinate with offshore/onsite teams, provide guidance, review deliverables and ensure timely delivery
Skills & experiences required
- 7+ years of experience in IT with at least 4+ years of experience in either of the following: LIFE/400,GROUP/400, POLISY400 SMART400 support specialist
- Strong technical skills in Life/400, COBOL, SMART400, DB2400 and strong functional knowledge in Life/400, Life/Asia system domain
- Domain knowledge of Life Insurance
- Good communicate skills, great team player and creative attitude
- Good reasoning and analytical skills
- Well versed with the Solution and infra architecture
