My client is an oil and gas company looking for a legal counsel to join their Dubai office. You would be the sole legal counsel in the office reporting to the regional managing director.
The role will encompass supporting the business on contentious and non-contentious international trade matters, general commercial contracts and also compliance.
The ideal candidate for this role will fit the following criteria:
- Will have 5-10 years PQE*;
- Will have at least 2 years experience in an international trade environment;
- Strong experience in commodities and shipping;
- Experience advising on compliance matters;
- Will ideally have experience in the region.
*Candidates outside of the stated PQE range will be considered if they can show the requisite competencies.
