Our client is looking for a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee the business. The specific duties of an operations manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, operation management, merchandising, and store development. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service, and implement best practices across all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices (Merchandising, Operations, VM, Store Development)
- Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Recruit, train and supervise staff and Ensure team & individual development programs
- Find ways to increase the quality of customer service
Key Requirements
- Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role (7+ years' experience in retail)
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Ability to work across multiple teams and cross functions. Excellent communications skills Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and well-versed in retail metrics preferred
- Leadership ability and Outstanding organizational skills
- Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
