Argyll Scott is working with a sccessful retail business with presence in multiple countries who are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources / Human Resources Director to join their team in Thailand. In this role you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the business and driving the people strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their professional development.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent to support the growth of the business.
  • Develop and manage employee relations, ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are in compliance with labor laws.
  • Act as a business partner to senior leadership, providing guidance and support on all people-related matters.
  • Drive a positive and productive culture throughout the organization.
  • Manage and develop employee engagement programs, including performance management, training and development, and employee recognition.
  • Continuously review, analyze and improve the HR function, leveraging data and metrics to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the company's overall success.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Experience in the retail industry is a strong plus.
