My client is a Tier-1 Bank with well-established investment banking and private banking businesses. They are looking for a Team Head of Client Onboarding and Life Cycle Management across APAC for investment banking and private banking.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance the existing risk and control framework, including one-bank coordination and oversight
Manage the control aspects of regulatory enquiries and exams
Provide inputs to the annual risk and control assessments, review and validation of risk events
Support the operational implementations of policy and regulatory changes
Oversee issues and action plans including root cause analysis
Provide control inputs to Run-the-Bank projects as needed
Ensure the correct governance and oversight on business expansions and setting up the control infrastructure for APAC Compliance Operations
Perform read across to other processes and controls based on gaps identified to proactively address issues in the region
Requirements
Degree holder with over 8 years of experience in private banking/ investment banking.
Experience in Compliance or Risk Oversight and Controls, internal audit, monitoring and testing or assurance role is preferred.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
