Our client is a scale up within the technology space globally headquartered in Singapore. The business is very well funded with an enviable global growth trajectory and is looking to bring on its first corporate CFO. The CFO will work directly with the CEO & the board and be responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations.
Responsibilities: -
- High level commercial business partnering with the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team and the Board
- Be a key point person for the next round of fund raising
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Manage the financial & risk management road maps of the company
- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions
- Provide strategic oversight of the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software
- Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures
- Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information
- Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing efficiency
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
Requirements
- Qualifications - CA, CPA, MBA
- Blend of both MNC and start up/scale up experience
- Experienced Leader with a track record within Technology / Product businesses
- Fund raising or IPO exposure although not essential would be an advantage
