Job Description
- Responsible to design, build, improve and maintain the products and systems that are consumer public fronting, highly scalable and highly available platforms.
- Lead, manage and grow a team of engineers, look into setting and adhering best practices, standards and processes.
- Continuously keeping up to date on new technologies, innovations and trends on new ways to optimize efficiency of the products and platforms.
- Drive new technology initiatives and R&D efforts to constantly build competitive advantage for the products and platforms.
- Build and grow the strategic technology capabilities and the engineering team to constantly attract top engineering talent.
Qualifications
- More than 10 years in software engineering, application development.
- Passionate is coding, love to code, want to code
- Passionate about leading engineering teams and growing people
- Passionate about building scalable systems, public facing projects
- Excellent understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, and algorithms
- At least 5 years of technical leadership experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
- Experience in Java base language environment
- Keep up to date on new technology trends including dockers, containers and orchestration, serverless, DevOps, NoOps, other programming paradigms, etc
