Argyll Scott is helping the client looking for Data Privacy Senior Manager. This role will responsible for taking on Data Protection Officer and be a focal point of contact on Enterprise Data Privacy across multiple business units and governments and directly report to Head of IT Enterprise Data Privacy.
Key Responsibilities;
- Drive Data Privacy Compliance projects across Business Units to comply with Personal Data Privacy Regulations including GDPR, PDPA
- Constant review data protection compliance arrangements to include updating policies and guidance, centralizing processes and putting in place robust, time-bound remedial plans where necessary. Maintain relevant global internal data privacy policies
- Handle enquiries and issues relating to data privacy policies, practices, trainings
- Actively monitor and liaise with the key stakeholders to ensure the governance and compliance to all policies and procedures, and processes
- Develop and implement a robust compliance plan and continuously maintain/improve compliance to Data Privacy Regulations
- Partner with all key business areas and IT Security team, to ensure data privacy issues are considered at the outset of new projects, products and initiatives
- Work with data privacy legal team and data protection team to ensure the data privacy addendum of data processing's companies are in place
- Liaise with stakeholders to acquire and maintain the consolidated view of compliance records
- Act as a liaison to the company Risk Committee in relation to global data privacy matters and IT risks
- Ensure that compliance audits findings are reported and acted upon
- Help manage the data privacy network across all global offices
- Monitor the industry landscape to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices related to Data Privacy and related matters
- Partner with data privacy legal team to stay up-to-date with the international privacy laws
Key Requirements;
- Work Experience in data privacy/protection
- Knowledge of International and European data protection laws and practices (GDPR, PDPA, PIPL, etc.)
- Demonstrate experience of managing data privacy issues in a global organization
- Good understanding of computer systems, computer security systems, databases and how personal data is stored and processed.
- Experience in auditing, risk management, leading the teams, and project management are considered an advantage
- Able to map and create data flows
- Able to conduct data privacy compliance reviews
- Proven ability to lead the large multidiscipline teams, build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment and willing to learn
- Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial and report all noncompliance
- Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and teams
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically. Able to effectively work in dynamic and matrix environment
- Passion on data privacy/data management
- Possess strong leadership, interpersonal skill, communication skill and organizational skill with attention to detail
- Fluent in English (both oral and written)
