Our client is a Global Retail firm renowned worldwide for their one stop shop provision of premium brands. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join their team in Singapore. The company is making significant progress in becoming as data driven as possible and this position will be playing a key role in enabling this effort.
In this role, you will be serving as the Data SME and will play a critical role in guiding the broader data and technology team to create data solutions using the right technologies. This role will require you to use your hands-on technical experience in the Data ecosystem to build and own the data platform for the organisation. As the position sits in the global team, you will be working with different geographies and multiple vendors
This role exists at an intersection between Data Architecture, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure and will be the right fit for someone passionate about Data technologies.
Requirements:
- You should have prior experience in creating a data platform from scratch.
- Also, should have experience in devising data architectures on cloud, hybrid or cloud native environments (Ideally Azure)
- Should have prior experience in API Integration. Would have ideally done API design and architecture before (Rest or GraphQL)
- Advanced skills in SQL, NoSQL, relational databases and MPP databases.
- Should have working knowledge of CI/CD, Industrialization and Workflow Management tools as will be expected to build and set up Devops practices
- Key required tech stack: Elasticsearch, NoSQL databases - Couchbase/HBase, Postgres, Kafka, Spark, Databricks, Redshift/Snowflake, Rest/GraphQL
- Prior experience in retail/ logistics/ supply chain related industries would be an added benefit
