Business Development Manager /1 mil/Start-Up

Our client is an established start-up looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's dynamic team. Our client's cutting-edge products are revolutionizing database, cloud, and technical architecture for their clients. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the database industry and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities

  • Meet sales targets in terms of customers acquired and revenue signed.
  • Control a territory. Create and carry out territory plans to acquire beachheads, win lighthouse projects, and meet (or exceed) individual quotas.
  • Build pipeline, keep a good CRM cadence, and keep the pipeline healthy with good time management and sales discipline.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development Representative teams to drive Demand Generation activities and build the ASEAN region's pipeline, focusing on the named account list.
  • To maximize conversion rates, co-sell with partners in your assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Passion and drive to succeed in a fast-paced, disruptive, and energetic environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise/Cloud sales at a well-established technology company in the following areas: data/infrastructure/cloud.
  • Working knowledge of the database or cloud computing fields is required.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and familiarity with enterprise customer decision-making processes.
  • Working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, such as direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, product management, and account management teams, is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work regularly.
  • Excellent command of the English and Mandarin languages. Basic Thai and Bahasa knowledge would be advantageous.
