Responsibilities
- Obtain in-depth information from every department and hold regular meetings to ensure that each department's Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) are valid and effective. At the same time, incorporate/document any new workflows, systems, or applications and the potential effects of these changes on the company's recovery process.
- Continuously track potential pandemic, cyber, and other external threats, both locally and globally, and implement preventive measures to lessen risks;
- Help the line manager manage ongoing BCM and operational resilience projects and work with business lines to get them done.
- Help the line manager maintain and update BIAs, country-level recovery plans, wallet cards, etc.,
- Arrange CMT gatherings and recurring BCP drills for all branches in the area.
- Any ad hoc BCM-related responsibilities that the Manager assigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder
- At least two to three years of work experience, particularly in foreign investment banks or financial organizations.
- Having prior BCM management experience and an IT background is a bonus.
- Willingness to learn, adaptability, ability to multitask, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced workplace while pursuing clear and sound solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for daily tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, writing and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
- Chinese language proficiency is greatly encouraged, while fluency in English is a requirement.
